About This Game

Wolfpack is an immersive first person co-op U-boat game in which one or multiple crews of players operate a German type VII U-boat during World War 2. Players encounter convoys of merchant ships guarded by destroyers, sloops and corvettes as their objective is to intercept and sink enemy vessels while remaining undetected from detection.

Each player occupies one station aboard the U-boat and needs to work cooperatively as part of its crew in order to complete its mission successfully. Wolfpack differs from other submarine simulators by enabling players to manage it directly via valves, levers and instruments rather than being managed procedurally like other simulation games might do.

Each U-boat contains up to five players: The captain, helmsman, dive officer, radio man and navigator.

Radio Man: Controls Hydrophone, Radio Direction Finder and Enigma Machine. Helmsman: Manages U-boat heading and speed while operating Torpedo Data Computer; Helmsman also controls depth using dive planes, ballast tanks and negative tanks while serving as lookout/gunner for Deck Gun and Anti Aircraft gun; Dive Officer: Operates depth diving planes/ballast tanks as a lookout/gunner of anti aircraft gun; Navigator: Calculates position while planning routes to intercept enemy convoys before providing orders directly from his Captain: "Commander of U-boat."

All stations and instruments of a U-boat have been painstakingly recreated from original photographs and sources to look as realistic as possible without compromising usability. The game includes fully operational torpedo data computers, manual navigation tools, and ship recognition manuals - among others!
